Face it people, with the two biggest kids on the block, sooner or later their going to scrap. Yes, folks the cat is finally out of the bag and its Google’s answer to the 3-year uncontested run of social networking giant, Facebook. Google will attempt to turn their company’s assets into one unrivaled social network.
The uniqueness of Google + is that it will not focus on one large mass group of friends as Facebook does, but rather dragging and dropping people into various “Social Circles” like family, friends, classmates and co-workers. Furthermore, users will have the option of creating custom groups, which ultimately allows for more freedom of use on the new platform.
When you factor in additional new features and the scalability of Photos, Group Video Chat and the Android mobile platform, it appears as though Facebook’s free pass as the King of Social will soon be challenged. Grab a ringside seat my friends because this truly will be a slug fest.
